What's it all about?

Graphics and Visual Design conveys ideas and information to an audience through visual language. In this subject, students develop conceptual and aesthetic understandings about design solutions in the world around them. The ideation and visualisation of ideas and observational drawing are the basis for researching and developing visual communication designs. Design thinking which involves the application of creative, critical and reflective techniques, is fundamental to the learning of Visual Communication Design. Students learn about design, and the role of the visual communication designer and their contribution to society.
