Science Skills Extension
What's it all about?
The Science Skills Extension elective is a practical based subject which focuses on the development of technical laboratory and experimental design skills. This elective is an inquiry course which will require students to “act and think like scientists” to investigate the world around them. In this elective, students will utilise technology, research, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to enhance their understanding and application of scientific reasoning.
What type of things will I do?
Use laboratory equipment appropriately, develop research, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, design and conduct research project.
