Structured Workplace Learning (SWL)

To complete all components of this course, students will be required to complete 30 hours of SWL per year.

Course Description

This introductory course equips with you with knowledge and skills to care for patients in a health care environment. Job roles may include patient care and patient transport, clinical cleaning and more under direct supervision. This healthcare assisstant course provides a strong foundation for support roles in health settings. You'll learn to work with patients under supervision of professional health staff.

You will learn

You'll be ready to provide a range of assisstance to professional staff for the care of patients and clients.
